Gulf Oil Spill interviews, updates and news

Our 3rd journey was dedicated to making aware the damage that was done by the Gulf Oil Spill to the wetlands & wildlife of the Gulf Coast and to give to a charity that helped the wildlife to recover.

The reason I started this show was my passion for travel. And of course, part of that passion is experiencing the nature and wildlife along the way.
I've been seeing birds and turtles being rescued and the wetlands that preserve them being destroyed on CNN. This has fueled (no pun intended) this idea about dedicating the 3rd journey to charity that will aid those affected by the oil spill.

The 3rd journey was the longest yet (20,000 miles+ driving and 10,000 miles+ flying). I headed to San Francisco; Washington state; then up to Alaska (to the site of another major oil spill); then all across middle USA to Philadelphia. From Philly I flew to England & Scotland and then it was off to Louisiana to present a check to a charity.
Along the way, I promoted the awareness of this disaster and how it affected our environment & wildlife.
I interviewed people I ran into about their thoughts and feelings on this crisis and what they would do to solve the problem. I also interviewed businesses and people who were directly affected by the spill.
